Many cities across the U.S. host a St. Patrick's Day Parade and New Bern is no exception. There were floats, bands and lots of green everywhere! The parade lasted about 45 minutes and coursed through the streets of downtown New Bern with crowds of people cheering and waving green hats. The photograph, curtesy Liz Bowles, Charlie Hall and the Sun Journal Newspaper, depicts one of the floats in the parade.
